Needlepoint Slippers - Finished!

I'm very pleased with myself as I've finished these little slippers that I started to make almost two years ago!
They are stitched on silk gauze from a kit by Bobbie Schoonmaker of Micro-Stitchery
They actually don't take very long to make but as those who know me understand that I do flit about a bit from one thing to another.
Needless to say Oly made hers in a jiffy and then made a second pair!  At least that's one more project finished and I can start something else now! Maybe I'll try and finishe the beautiful flower kits I bought from Pascale.
Have a good week!

  2. They are super cute. A good idea. I also have many different projects underway at the same time. Nice when we managed to finish something.

    1. I bought three sets, made the peonies, started the poppies and forget what the other one is but they are excellent kits with everything you need but so fiddly and time consuming because flower making is my pet hate. I will try to finish because her flowers are so beautiful and look real.

Muy divertido tener varios proyectos abiertos, pero yo soy muy cuadriculada para tremenda variedad. jajaja

  5. Oh, your slippers are gorgeous! Were they very hard to put together? I have a kit but am scared to death of the tiny size..

    1. The stitching is easy as long as you have good eyesight or a magnifying light. The scariest part is when you cut out right up to the stitching but it's fine as long as you have let the Fraycheck dry. They're fiddly and you need patience!

  6. They're so beautiful!! I really don't think I'd have the patience, but you have truly been rewarded for sticking at it.
